ABOUT TASH & MARTHE KOSTER-THOMAS (she/her)
Tash and Marthe of Breaking the Distance embarked on their journey in 2019, a platform born out of their long-distance relationship. Their love story began when they crossed paths in Bali while traveling but soon found themselves separated by the geographical distance, with Tash in London and Marthe in Amsterdam. Over time, their page evolved from being a testament to their love into a space where they shared their experiences as a queer couple, navigating the challenges of long-distance relationships, sharing life's adventures, their marriage and most recently entering parenthood in raising their baby girl, Sutton in Margate, Kent.
Their content across Instagram and their podcast is unapologetically candid, covering a wide array of topics, including lifestyle, travel, sustainability, veganism, LGTBQ+ advocacy, and sex positivity. Outside of their page, Tash works as a DEI consultant and Marthe works as a yoga teacher.
By fearlessly sharing their authentic and thought-provoking posts, Tash and Marthe have cultivated a thriving community. Their journey has also led to collaborations with renowned brands such as LG, Tesco, MiraFertility, and SkyScanner, as well as featured in Boots Health Magazine.
