ABOUT Lira Valencia (she/her)
Lira is a London-based outdoor content creator, community builder, and nature enthusiast using her platform @OutsidewithLira to reframe what it means to belong in the outdoors.
With a background in Zoology and roots in Colombian and Chilean heritage, she brings both knowledge and authenticity to everything she shares - from mindful walks to climate action.
She currently works as a ranger for London Wildlife Trust at Walthamstow Wetlands, and is a presenter for BBC’s Springtime, helping bring stories of nature, biodiversity, and seasonal change to life. Lira has collaborated with purpose-led brands and organisations including, Canopy & Stars, RSPB, Surfers Against Sewage, Time Out London, BBC, Premier Inn, The Wildlife Trusts and the Natural History Museum to name but a few.
With an honest voice and a genuine passion for nature, hiking, bird watching and environmental preservation, Lira shares content that invites others to slow down, explore mindfully, and reconnect with nature - no pressure, no gatekeeping, just fresh air and curiosity.
