About Johnathon Miller-McCall (he/him)
Johnathon is a London-based nature communicator and content creator, using his platform to make the natural world feel accessible, engaging, and relevant to everyday life. Following a degree in Animal Management and Conservation, Johnathon put his studies into practice working as a dog handler and as a trainee with London Wildlife Trust, followed by a Communications Officer at Synchronicity Earth. Most recently, he joined GoJauntly app as their Community Manager.
During this time, he trained in the conservation and habitat management of wetland birds, fungi, and invertebrates, as well as delivering hands-on workshops including minibeast hunting and pond-dipping.
As a self-described nature nerd, Johnathon has made it his mission to ignite curiosity and educate others through engaging, easy-to-digest content. His work focuses on bringing attention to the details people often overlook, like that tiny patch of Dandelion weed that actually has incredible medicinal properties.
Alongside his content, Johnathon has contributed to wider environmental conversations, including appearing as a panel member for Climate Live, Blue Earth Summit & the Natural History Museum.
He has worked with organisations including BBC, London Wildlife Trust, National Geographic, Earth Minutes and Thameslink, collaborating on content and campaigns that connect audiences with nature in a meaningful and accessible way.
Alongside his digital presence, Johnathon is passionate about building community offline through walks, workshops, and in-person experiences, creating spaces where people can connect more deeply with nature and with each other.
