Disney are a global entertainment company, with multinational mass media outlets, Disney is well known for its American motion-pictures and television productions featuring cartoons.

THE CHALLENGE

Generate awareness of Disney’s The Lion King’s return to theatres and create interest amongst a specific target audience.

THE OBJECTIVE

To source a diverse influencer roster to attend 2 events and generate Instagram stories and TikTok videos.

THE CAMPAIGN

We worked with 10 locally based Manchester influencers, who's demographics hit the desired target audience for the client, to attend 2 premier events and generate content for Disney's The Lion King. The campaign featured one intimate live lounge music event and the press premier of The Lion King at the Palace Theatre, Manchester.

 

THE RESULTS

Our influencers created 65 pieces of content pieces showcasing the intimate live lounge music event and introducing their followers to a sneak peek of the incredible music featured in the production and sharing content from the red carpet press night theatre production. Our influencers had a combined following of 561,700

We worked with a diverse range of influencers for this campaign with 50% of our influencers being a POC (Black, Desi), 40% being coming from marginalised communities (LGBTQIA+ and Plus Size).

There was strong sentiment across the campaign with audiences sharing their appreciation for the production.
